Hypothesis

There will be a stronger negative relationship between spousal relatedness and offspring fitness among foragers than among non-foragers. (2)

Note

Spousal relatedness was found to be positively associated with fitness outcomes among non-foragers, but negatively associated with fitness among foragers. However, when society-level inbreeding was introduced into the model, the effect was found to be accounted for by high society-level inbreeding, rather than a lack of foraging.
