Hypothesis

Ethnolinguistic groups within African nations will share ideologies about cultural modernization and emancipation.

Note

The Pearson distance method failed to group ethnolinguistic groups in Nigeria and Sierra Leone, and the Euclidean distance method split some national clusters. Overall, the results indicate that this may simply be a measurement issue. An ANOVA run on the data produced by the cluster analysis showed that the nation in which an ethnolinguistic group played a significant role in determining its ideological position.
