Hypothesis
There will be a higher rate of transition from uxorilocality to neolocality than the inverse transition.
Note
The results partially support that the change from uxorilocality to neolocality (qUN) is greater than the reverse transition (qNU). In Indo-European societies qUN has a value of 40, while qNU has a value of 29.5. However, for Austronesian societies, qUN is 0.9 while qNU is 1.5.
