Hypothesis
The use of corporal punishment against children is higher in agrarian societies than in hunter-gatherer societies.
Note
On a scale of 1-5, with 1 indicating very high levels of frequent and severe corporal punishment against children, and 5 indicating the absence of corporal punishment against children, egalitarian societies cumulatively rank 4.62, whereas agrarian societies cumulatively rank 3.19.
