Hypothesis
Ecological factors of complexity (population, technology and agriculture, social organization) will be positively correlated with gender inequality for both adults and children (64).
Note
Contrary to the hypothesis, ecological complexity factors are slightly more correlated with inequality in childhood than adulthood (74). Community size is marginally significant but negatively correlated (p<.10, rho= -.10) with childhood gender inequality; technology is significantly (p<.05, rho= .21) correlated with childhood gender inequality.
