Hypothesis
Tie-breaking customs will be positively associated with remarriage rates (218).
Note
Remarriage rates are significantly (p<.05) and positively correlated with destruction of deceased’s useful property, abandonment of dwelling/room shared with deceased, and fear of deceased's ghost. Non-significant tie-breaking customs: disposal of personal objects, name taboo, camp/village abandoned.
