Hypothesis
Presence and elaborateness of menarcheal ceremonies are negatively associated with strength of fraternal interest groups (109).
Note
Fraternal interest group strength is an index of fraternal interest group size, descent ideology which enforces loyalty, and ability to contract explicit marriage bargains.
