Hypothesis

Population-level variation in DRD4 alleles is a result of the distributions of DRD4 alleles in founder groups (317).

Note

The increase of long alleles of DRD4 with distance of migration is almost linear, whereas founder effects should have resulted in more abrupt changes in allele frequencies.
