Hypothesis
Adolescents running away from difficult situations will be associated with certain antecedent socialization practices (151).
Note
Running away by boys was significantly predicted by infant and mother sleeping apart (r = 0.42), childhood inclusion in adult activities (r = 0.49), inculcation of responsibility (r = 0.40), and inculcation of industry (r = 0.38). Running away by girls was predicted only by infant and mother sleeping apart (r = 0.54).
